An online business card that collects reviews and leads is a business profile with two extra jobs: a reviews button that takes happy customers straight to where you collect reviews, such as your Google review page, and a way for visitors to leave their own details so you can follow up. You share it by QR code or link, so nothing changes hands, and both tools come with the Business Plan (£90, paid once).
Example situations to show how it works — not customer reviews.
A plumber sends the card link by WhatsApp when he finishes a job. The customer taps the reviews button and leaves a Google review while the work is fresh in their mind.
A wedding photographer shows the QR code on her stand. Couples who are not ready to book leave their details, and she follows up from her contact leads the week after.
An independent optician keeps the code on the counter with “Scan to leave us a review”. Customers scan it on the way out; no card or leaflet is handed over.
A garden designer adds a short form asking about the size of the garden and the budget, so each lead arrives with what she needs to quote.
You order here. Our platform partner builds and hosts your profile and emails it to you separately. Then it’s yours to fill in and share.
The moment a customer is happiest is usually the moment you finish the job — and that is when you are least likely to have a review link to hand. Putting a reviews button on the card you already share makes asking quick and consistent.
Leads work the other way round: instead of only giving your details, your card lets people leave theirs. Each one is kept as a contact lead with notes, and you can export them as CSV for the rest of your follow-up.
Ask every customer for a review, not just the happy ones, and never offer a reward for a review — Google’s rules and UK consumer law are both clear on this. If you collect leads, tell people what you will use their details for and keep them only as long as you need; our UK GDPR guide has a short checklist.
